1-bit is black and white, but not grey. 2-bits adds in black-grey and white-grey. 4-bits doubles that to 16 shades of grey and 8-bits brings us to 256 shades and 16,700,000 colours.

The Series VX starts at 8-bits, and then includes 10-bits and 12-bits for 1,024 and 4,096 shades of grey for super smooth gradations and way more colors than your eyes can see.

The VX Series relies on NovaStar Armor receiver cards plus NovaLCT Configuration Tools or SmartLCT, and V-Can video control software.

Armor receiver cards include the A5S Plus, A8S-N and A10S Pro which provide for stepless output scaling, low latency, 3D, pixel-level brightness and chroma calibration.

The VX Series is offered in an industry-standard 2U rack enclosure weighing just 4.0 kilograms with XYZ dimensions of 483 × 302 × 51 millimeters.

For those on the move we offer the option to integrate the VX Series into a compact flight case weighing 10.4 kilograms with XYZ dimensions of 521 × 517 × 102 millimeters.
